Can I see last time’s weight and reps while I am logging a set?

Yes. Mekimeki shows what you did last time for the same exercise beside the row you are typing into, so the number you are comparing against is in the same line of sight as the number you are entering. Press and hold that figure and it is copied into the row, which is usually the whole interaction for a set you intend to repeat. The same column is available while editing a template, so a plan can be built against what you actually lifted.

Where the figure comes from

Placement Beside the weight and rep inputs on the same row, not in a panel below or behind a tap.
Source Your own most recent logged session for that exercise.
Copying it in Press and hold the previous figure to fill the weight and reps of the row you are on.
Template editing The same previous column appears while editing a template, with the same press-and-hold behaviour.
Availability Works with no connection, because it is read from the history already on your device.

Why beside the input and not below it

The decision this figure supports is made in about two seconds, between racking and unracking, and it is a comparison: last time against this time. A comparison put underneath the thing it is being compared to, or hidden behind a tap, costs a glance and a movement at the moment when neither is available.

Keeping it on the same line means the previous number and the field you are filling are read together, which is the point of showing it at all.

What this does not do

The boundaries of the behaviour above, stated so you do not have to infer them.

Related questions

Does Mekimeki fill in last time’s numbers automatically?

No. The figure is shown, and it is copied only when you press and hold it. That keeps an outlier session from silently becoming your next session.

Does this work offline?

Yes. Previous performance is read from the history stored on your device, so it is there with no connection.

Can I see previous performance while building a template?

Yes. The previous column appears in the template editor as well, so you can write a plan against numbers you have actually lifted.
