Features

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

Fast set logging, reusable templates, multi-week programs, and automatic PR tracking. The tools serious training actually uses, whatever you train.

How it works

Plan. Train. Progress.

  1. Plan. Create a reusable template for your training split, or go further and build a multi-week program with progression and deload weeks laid out for you.
  2. Train. Log each set as you go (weight, reps, and rest), with a rest timer keeping you on pace between sets.
  3. Progress. Every session is saved in full detail. Mekimeki tracks your volume, estimated 1RM, and personal records over time.

Most workout trackers give you a stripped-down free tier and lock templates, history, or stats behind a subscription. Mekimeki doesn't. The free download is the whole app: unlimited logging, templates, estimated 1RM, personal records, full history, the complete exercise library, with no subscriptions, no ads in your training, and no "Pro" upgrade.

And it works fully offline. In the current version your training data is stored on your own iPhone, with your personal iCloud used for backup: no accounts, no Mekimeki servers, and the developer cannot read your data.

Who it's for

Made for people who take training seriously

Lifters running a structured program. Beginners learning progressive overload. Anyone who wants their training (lifting, cardio, or stretching) in a fast, purpose-built app instead of a notes file or spreadsheet.

Mekimeki is a training tool first: no engagement feeds, no gamification noise, no general-health bloat.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Mekimeki free?

Yes, the whole app. Every feature (templates, estimated 1RM, personal records, full history, the exercise library) is included free. There are no subscriptions, no ads in your training, and no locked "Pro" tier.

Where is my workout data stored?

In the current version, your training data is stored on your own iPhone, with your personal iCloud used for backup. Mekimeki has no accounts and no servers of its own, and the developer cannot read your data.

Does Mekimeki work offline?

Yes, fully. No internet connection is required to log workouts, because your data lives on your device.

What devices does Mekimeki support?

Mekimeki is currently available for iPhone and requires iOS 17.0 or later.

Does Mekimeki calculate my one-rep max?

Yes. Mekimeki automatically calculates your estimated 1RM from logged sets, with a choice of Brzycki, Epley, or hybrid formulas, and flags new personal records the moment you hit them.

Can Mekimeki plan progressive overload for me?

Yes. Mekimeki’s training programs lay out week-by-week load, rep, and set targets from a goal-based progression preset (Steady Build, Muscle Builder, Strength Builder, Mixed Heavy-Light, or a fully custom blueprint), with deload weeks built in.

Can I build my own workout templates?

Yes. You can create reusable templates for any training split (push/pull/legs, full body, upper/lower, or fully custom), edit them anytime, and load one to start a session in seconds.

Does Mekimeki support both kg and lb?

Yes. Mekimeki supports kilograms and pounds with instant unit switching.

Is Mekimeki only for strength training?

No. The exercise library spans strength training, cardio, stretching, powerlifting, and more, and templates work for any kind of session. Strength tools like estimated 1RM sit alongside rep-count progress tracking for bodyweight and cardio work.

Can I add my own exercises?

Yes. Mekimeki ships with a comprehensive exercise library spanning strength training, cardio, stretching, and more, organised by muscle group and category, and you can add custom exercises of your own.
