What do I need to run Mekimeki?
An iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later. Mekimeki is currently an iPhone app, free to download on the App Store.
How much does Mekimeki cost?
Mekimeki is free on the App Store, and the free download is the full app: every feature is included. There are no subscriptions, no ads in your training, and no locked "Pro" tier.
Do I need an account?
No. The current version of Mekimeki has no accounts. You download the app and start training.
Does Mekimeki work offline?
Yes, fully. No internet connection is required to log workouts. Your data lives on your iPhone, so nothing depends on a signal.
Where is my workout data stored?
In the current version, your training data is stored on your own iPhone, with your personal iCloud used for backup. Mekimeki has no servers of its own, and the developer cannot read your data.
Which languages does Mekimeki support?
Mekimeki is localised in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch.
Can I switch between kg and lb?
Yes. Mekimeki supports kilograms and pounds with instant unit switching.
Why are my warm-up sets not counted in my stats?
By design. Warm-up sets are automatically excluded from performance metrics such as volume, estimated 1RM, and personal records, so your stats reflect working sets only.
Can I change the 1RM formula?
Yes. Mekimeki supports Brzycki, Epley, and hybrid formulas for estimated one-rep max.
