Privacy policy

This policy describes how the current version of Mekimeki handles your data. If a future version changes any of this, the policy will be updated before that version ships. Effective date: April 25, 2026.

What we collect

Mekimeki works without an account. The workout data you enter — exercises, sets, reps, weights, templates, body metrics, and settings — stays on your device. Only if you explicitly grant permission, the app can read your body weight from Apple Health so you don't have to re-enter it. Mekimeki does not collect location or any precise-location data.

Where your data lives

Your training data is stored on your own iPhone, and your personal iCloud account is used for backup and optional sync. It is your data, in your storage, and the app works fully offline.

No accounts, no servers

The current version of Mekimeki has no user accounts and no servers operated by the developer. Your data is never sent to us, and we cannot read it. Any syncing happens through your own iCloud account under Apple's privacy terms, and when you use built-in iOS features such as the Share Sheet, Apple processes that data under Apple's own terms.

No data collection or tracking

The current version of Mekimeki does not collect your personal or training data. There are no analytics services and no crash-reporting services, no advertising, and nothing about how you use the app is sent to the developer, sold, or shared with third parties.

Apple Health

Apple Health access is optional and read-only: with your permission, Mekimeki reads your latest body weight so you don't have to type it in. Nothing is written back to Apple Health. You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices, and the app keeps working without it.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device and in your iCloud account, deleting it is in your hands. Uninstalling the app removes its data from your device; any iCloud copy can be removed from iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage. Revoking Apple Health access (above) stops any further reading of your weight.

Children's privacy

Mekimeki is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
